Head Boy and Head Girl
At St. Michael’s we have one Head Boy, one Head Girl and two Deputy Head Pupils from Year 6.
In order to gain this important job role, they had to write a formal letter to the Headteacher stating why they should be considered for this role.
Being a Head Boy and Head Girl comes with many responsibilities and tasks. The children are expected to represent the school at certain events (including making speeches), managing the prefects, showing visitors around, meeting with school council, checking in on our younger children and reporting to Governors and staff.
During the academic year, their jobs will be expanding – so watch this space!
Our Head Boy and Head Girl are primarily the role models of our school and are encouraged to set a good example to all pupils at St. Michael’s.
