St Michael's and All Angels Church
We are very lucky at St. Michael’s to have The St. Michael’s Church just down the road and children regularly join Reverend Ruth for services and reflection.
St Michael & All Angel’s church is located within Bartley Green. It was built as a chapel of ease to St Laurence, Northfield. Construction of the church commenced in 1838 and was consecrated in 1840.
The construction of the new church began in the ward in 1964 and it was consecrated on the 12th July 1966.
The old church was demolished in 1968 after standing derelict for around 2 years.
It is here that the pupils of St Michael’s worship and celebrate events together as a school and church.
