About Us
St. Michael's CE Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive two-form entry primary school nestled in the heart of Bartley Green, located in south-west Birmingham. As a Church of England school, we are proud to uphold a strong Christian ethos that shapes our school community.
Our school's vision of ’Courage to Flourish in the Love of God’ and our values of courage, hope, love, forgiveness, trust, community and thankfulness are at the heart of our philosophy. We seek to provide challenging and life enriching educational opportunities that raise aspirations, enabling all to flourish as responsible and respectful individuals ready to make a positive difference in our world.
With approximately 446 pupils on roll, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to flourish academically, spiritually and emotionally. Our school building is in an excellent state of repair and an inspirational environment in which to learn. In addition, there are extensive outdoor spaces for the children to enjoy.
Our school is part of the Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust. We benefit from a strong network of support and collaboration with other schools. This partnership allows us to access a wealth of resources and expertise, enhancing our ability to provide high-quality education to our pupils.
At St. Michael's, we offer a comprehensive educational experience. Our Early Years Foundation Stage comprises of a 26-place Nursery and two Reception classes. We also have four Key Stage 1 classes and eight Key Stage 2 classes. Our dedicated staff team are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and talents of each child.
St. Michael's is more than just a place of learning. It is a community where pupils, staff and families come together to grow, learn and thrive. We are dedicated to providing a holistic education that nurtures the whole child, preparing them for a future where they can make a positive impact on the world.
We recognise the invaluable role that parents play in supporting their children's learning journey. We are committed to fostering strong partnerships with parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils. By working collaboratively with parents, we aim to create a supportive home-school relationship that enhances the educational experience for every child.
